About this pliers / cutters
This Knipex crimping plier is an 8.5-inch pair of pliers designed for crimping MC4 and MC4 Evo 2 solar connectors, the connector family used in photovoltaic wiring. It is part of the brand's PreciForce line, listed under model number 97 52 42 6 and classed as pliers and cutters. It suits installers and electricians who work with MC4-style connectors and want a tool sized for that job. Before buying, confirm that your connectors are MC4 or MC4 Evo 2, since that is the platform the tool is built for. The listing does not state the configuration or what, if anything, is included in the box, so check the product details before ordering.
