About this planer
This Makita model 2012NB is a corded portable planer with a 12-inch cutting width, a 15-amp motor and a stated top speed of 8,500 RPM. It features an Interna-Lok automated head clamp, a design aimed at keeping the cutting head secure during use. Planers of this type are generally used to flatten and smooth wood stock to a consistent thickness.
