About this router
This Makita RD1101 is a corded router built around an 11-amp motor, stated at 2-1/4 horsepower, with a D-handle for two-handed control while routing edges, grooves and profiles in wood. Its motor current is the main stated specification, so shoppers can judge its power level against their typical projects. It will suit woodworkers who want a straightforward, full-featured router for general shaping and edge work.
