About this planer
This corded planer from Makita has a 6-3/4 inch cutting width and a 10.9 amp motor, with a stated top speed of 15,000 RPM. It is designed for smoothing, trimming and shaping wood surfaces, and its corded design means it draws power from a wall outlet rather than a battery. It may suit shoppers who need a mains-powered planer for workshop or project work involving wood.
