About this jig saw
This compact jig saw from Makita runs on a 12V max CXT lithium-ion battery and is listed with a brushless motor. It comes as a kit that includes two 2.0Ah batteries and weighs about 4.1 lb, making it a light option for cutting curves and shapes in wood and other materials. It suits shoppers who already own, or plan to build around, the CXT 12V battery platform, since the battery is the part that needs to match. The listing is for the kit, so check that you want the two-battery package. Its light weight may appeal to anyone who wants easier handling in tight spaces or overhead work.
