About this jig saw
This is a Makita 18V LXT cordless jig saw with a barrel grip and a brushless motor, model XVJ01Z, sold as the bare tool only. It runs on the LXT 18V battery platform, so it is designed to work with that family of batteries and chargers. Because this listing is for the tool only, you will need to supply a compatible LXT 18V battery and charger separately. Shoppers who already own LXT 18V batteries can use this saw without buying a new power source. Check that your existing battery matches the LXT 18V platform before ordering.
