About this planer
This is a cordless planer from Makita's 18V LXT line, built around a brushless motor and stated to reach 15,000 RPM. It takes a 3-1/4 inch blade width and is listed with AWS capability for wireless connectivity. The listing is for the tool only, so the battery and charger are not included. It suits shoppers already invested in the LXT 18V battery platform who want a cordless planer for trimming and shaping wood. Before buying, confirm you have a compatible LXT battery and charger on hand, since neither comes with this bare tool.
