About this circular saw
This is a 7.25 inch cordless circular saw from Makita's LXT 18V line, built around a brushless motor and supplied with a carbide-tipped blade. It is listed as an 18 V X2 LXT (36V) model, so it runs on the LXT 18V battery platform. The listing is for the tool only, so no battery or charger comes with this version. It may suit shoppers who already own LXT 18V batteries and want a saw for cutting lumber and sheet material. Before buying, check that your existing batteries belong to the LXT 18V platform, and note that this configuration is the bare tool. Makita also lists this model in combo and kit configurations if you need a battery and charger included.
