About this band saw
This is a compact cordless band saw from Makita's 18V LXT line, stated as brushless and listed with a 28-3/4 in. portable band saw blade, 18 TPI. It runs on the 18 V platform. The configuration is listed as the tool only, so the battery and charger are not included with this version. Shoppers who already own LXT 18V batteries and want a small, cordless band saw for portable cutting may find this a good fit. Before buying, check that you have a compatible LXT 18V battery, since this listing is for the bare tool. A combo kit of this model is also listed, which may suit anyone who needs a battery and charger from the start.
