About this angle grinder
This Makita GAG01Z is a cordless angle grinder running on a 40V XGT platform, with a brushless motor and an electric brake. It accepts 4-1/2 and 5 inch discs and is listed with a maximum speed of 8,500 RPM. The listing is for the tool only, so no battery or charger is included. It may suit shoppers who already own XGT 40V batteries and want a grinder for cutting and grinding jobs. Before buying, check that your existing battery and charger belong to the XGT 40V line, and confirm that you need the bare tool rather than a kit.
