About this jig saw
This is a cordless jig saw from Makita's 18V LXT line, designed for cutting curves and straight lines in wood, with an 18 V lithium-ion power source and a brushless motor. Because it is a bare tool, it is supplied without a battery or charger, so the purchase covers the saw body only. It suits shoppers who already own LXT 18V batteries and chargers and want to add a cordless jig saw to that set. Before buying, confirm that you have a compatible LXT 18V battery on hand, since none is included, and check that the tool-only configuration matches what you need.
