About this jig saw
The Makita GVJ01Z is a 40V max XGT cordless jig saw with a barrel grip, designed for making curved and straight cuts in wood, metal and other materials. It uses a brushless motor and runs on the XGT 40V battery platform. This is a bare tool listing, so the saw is offered without a battery or charger. It suits someone who already owns XGT 40V batteries and wants a cordless jig saw to add to that set. Before buying, check that you have a compatible XGT battery and charger, since neither is included, and confirm the barrel grip style suits how you like to hold a saw.
