About this sander
This is a Makita 6 inch random orbit sander from the 40V max XGT line, powered by a brushless motor and sold as a bare tool, meaning it arrives without a battery or charger. It runs on the XGT 40V battery platform and is listed with a 4 Ah battery capacity for pairing reference. It suits shoppers who already own or plan to buy into the Makita XGT 40V system and want a 6 inch orbital sander for general finishing work. Before buying, confirm you have a compatible XGT 40V battery and charger, since neither is included, and check that the 6 inch pad size fits your sanding tasks.
