About this rotary hammer
This is a cordless rotary hammer drill from the M18 FUEL line, built around a brushless motor and an SDS-Plus chuck that takes 1-1/8 in. bits. It runs at up to 800 RPM and is listed with an 8 Ah battery. The listing states that a charger is included in the box. It suits users who already own, or plan to build around, the M18 battery platform and need a drill for masonry and heavier drilling work. Check that the M18 battery system matches what you already own, since the battery and charger fit only that platform. This kit is listed with the battery and charger, and the 1-1/8 in. size refers to the drill's capacity.
