About this sander
This is a 12-volt cordless random orbital sander from Milwaukee's M12 line, with a 6-inch pad and a brushless motor. It is listed as a kit and is paired with a 5.0 Ah battery platform, so the figures stated for battery capacity apply to the battery in the set. Its listed size is 6 inches, which suits sanding larger flat surfaces in a range of workshop and home projects. It suits shoppers who already own M12 batteries and chargers, or who plan to build around that platform, since compatibility is tied to the M12 system. Before buying, check that your existing batteries share the M12 platform, confirm the configuration is the one you want, and make sure a 6-inch pad matches the work you have in mind.
