About this shop machine
The Powermatic 1792800B is a shop-grade drill press built around a 1 horsepower, single-phase motor. It is listed to run on either 115-volt or 230-volt power, which gives home and small-shop users some flexibility in where they set it up. Beyond the motor and voltage options, the listing does not state further specifications. This machine suits woodworkers, metalworkers and hobbyists who want a stationary drill press for repeatable, accurate holes rather than handheld drilling. Before buying, confirm that your outlet matches the voltage you intend to use, since the listing covers both 115-volt and 230-volt operation.
