About this circular saw
This is a cordless 4-1/2 inch circular saw from DeWalt's ATOMIC line, running on a 20 V MAX battery platform and using a brushless motor. It is listed with a 24-tooth circular saw blade, and the model is also offered in other configurations, so the exact contents of your purchase are worth confirming. Its 4-1/2 inch blade size suits compact, lighter cutting tasks. This saw suits someone who already owns, or plans to build around, the 20V MAX battery system and wants a small, cordless saw for light work. Before buying, check that the battery platform matches the batteries and chargers you have, confirm the configuration you are choosing since the listing for this model is shown as tool only, and make sure the 4-1/2 inch size fits the cuts you need to make.
