About this router
The Ridgid R22001 is a corded fixed-base router built for shaping and trimming wood edges. It is stated as an 11 amp, 2 HP machine that takes 1/2 inch collets, and its fixed base keeps the motor in one position for steady, repeatable cuts. This router suits shoppers who want a corded, fixed-base tool for general woodworking tasks.
