About this reciprocating saw
This is a cordless reciprocating saw from Ridgid, running on an 18 V battery platform and sold as a kit. The listing includes a 4.0 Ah battery and a charger, and the battery is stated as an 18V 4.0 Ah EXP lithium-ion pack. It is built for cutting through wood, metal and similar materials on job sites or around the home. This kit may suit someone who already owns or plans to build around the Ridgid 18V platform, since that is the battery system it uses. Check that the battery and charger match the platform you already have, and confirm the kit includes the battery and charger you need before buying. Only the charger is stated as included, so take that into account if you expect a second battery.
