About this circular saw
This compact 18V cordless circular saw from Ridgid uses a brushless motor and a 4-1/2 inch blade, with a top speed listed at 5,300 RPM. It comes as a kit with one 4.0 Ah lithium-ion battery, so you can start cutting straight away once it is charged. It suits those who want a light, cordless saw for smaller cutting jobs around the home or workshop. Before buying, check that you already own or plan to use the 18V platform, and note the 4-1/2 inch blade size, which limits cutting depth compared with larger saws.
